Arrival on Van Koor [1] Kaz - Age 16
Kaz Maekon, only sixteen years old, leaves his humdrum farm life for another fraught with adventure and adversity. In this episode, Kaz steps into the city of Neo Realto, his new home for many years to come, but he is not received with welcome but rather reality.

Illgotten Gains [2]
Now at the age of twenty-one, Kaz is reunited with an old friend, Jedi Vin Wander. After persuading him to help on a shipping run, their mundane journey is met with betrayal!

After the mishaps of "Illgotten Gains" Kaz and Vin decide to take a rest on Malistare but their trip is interrupted by the schemes of mechanical scoundrels!

False Advertising
On Malistare, Kaz and his companions visit a local gun and weapon show. While Kaz shops around for the slugthrower of his dreams, Vin attempts to make a boastful weapons dealer eat his words about the Jedi.

An Even Chance
Doubting his claims that Kaz has learned more in the real world than he could ever have learned as a Jedi Knight, Vin decides to test his friends skill in a friendly lightsaber sparring.
